Tech packs
Tech Packs also known as 'Technical Specification Packets' are primarily used in the fashion industry. Tech packs are the required blue prints for any factory or manufacturer to cost and create your product.
Whether it's a shirt, jacket, pant, shirt, shoe, knit, sweater or bag- your design requires a detailed document that illustrates all of the details, construction and make of your product.
The tech packet includes a technical flat sketch, fabric information, trims, specs, labeling, and all stitching information required to produce your garment.

Technical sketches
It all begins with an idea and we can help you turn that idea into a 2-d illustration. We have a strong team of talented designers that can created professional tech packs with all the required information and details to create make your design a reality.
All designs and tech packets require a sketch- it’s a visual representation of your design. Computer aided flat sketches are preferred since they can be easily manipulated, changed, rendered in your technical packets.
These sketches provide your manufacturer with the visual guide of what the end product should look like. Pattern makers and tech designers also need these detailed sketch to turn your 2-d design into a tangible garment.
Illustrations
Our co-op consists of artist, cad designers and illustrators. Hand illustrations are available for sketching out complete looks, entire collections or to enhance and put an artisanal & artistic touch your website.
Pattern making
Turn your idea into a paper pattern that can begin your garment development process. We can develop a pattern from scratch, garment, sketch, or sloper.
Digitized patterns: Turn your final patterns into a digital file that you can send to other factories. Each paper pattern piece is digitized on our CAD system and clearly labeled so there is no confusion at factory level.
Pattern grading: Create full patterns for all sizes. Let us digitize and provide digital patterns for your full size range.
Specs
This page in the tech pack gives accurate measurements for all POM's (points of measurements). These supplied measurements are crucial to designing your product in the right proportions or fit.
We can either provide you with suggested specs for your first proto-type or we can rub off specs from a reference or store-bought sample.
Grade rules
Grade rules is your formula sheet for calculating measurements for each different size. Every point of measure requires a rule for grading up and down a size. Our grade rules are industry tested and completed by professionals. Using untested grade rules can ruin your garment between your different sizes and will alter the fit from size to size if done incorrectly. With graded rules, you do not need to send or make all the different sizes for your garment. The factory will use this data/formula to create your full size set.

If you need help with domestic production we can help you with all the documents to make your sampling and production runs smoothly.
Cutters Must- A cutter's must will list all the pattern pieces (body and linings) included in the pattern package and will also list which piece(s) require interlining / fusibles. We will work closely with our pattern maker to fill out the sheet accordingly.
Cut Ticket- A cut ticket is required to show how many pieces of each size and each fabric is needed for sampling and/or production.
Domestic production- We can also help you source a domestic New York factory for all your production needs.
Look books- Look books are valuable tools when selling to retailers. Let us help you coordinate, shoot and assemble your look book.
